Patience, light, and a stubborn eye.
CROSS CULT CREW is a cinematography collective working across music videos, ad films, documentary and narrative — Kolkata-based, rarely home. Over the last decade the work has kept one shape: patient images that trust the audience.
Trained on film sets and finished in grading suites, CROSS CULT CREW builds every frame around a single question — what should this moment feel like? The answer decides the lens, the light, and how long the shot is allowed to breathe.
“The camera never captures what a place looked like. It captures what it felt like to stand there.”

What directors say
( Drag )
“Half the shots I planned became better shots I didn't plan. That only happens with a DP who is actually watching the scene.”
Priya Nayar
Director — Blue Hour Films
“We gave an impossible brief: night exterior, no lighting budget, broadcast deadline. What came back looked like a feature.”
Marcus Feld
Executive Creative Director — Studio North
“Producers remember two things: the dailies and the schedule. Both were the best I've had in fifteen years.”
Alex Tan
Line Producer — Nightjar
